Copying from a defective DVD?

    Is it safe to do a DVD to DVD copy from a CD that is of poor quality and glitches a lot when you play it on a DVD player? Or should you backup the original copy again?

    ive done it before, and it worked fine. But it would be better to copy from the original again.
