Hi, i've never attempted anything like this so please forgive me if this question is redundant. Basically i wanted to know if i have the Sony RCD-W7V DVD Recorder, can i just put the game in and the dvd-r and when its done will the game run, no "patching" or anything like that that i see on here? Is the Sony RCD-W7V DVD Recorder a good piece of equiptment to do this?

    Thanks

If you have a DVD-ROM and a DVD Burner, yes, you can make exact copies of PS2 games without making patches or images. (whatever that means)

Programs like Nero and Alcohol120% can make backups very quickly and easily.

(I'm assuming that you have a modchip installed on your PS2....the only way back up games will work)

I backup my playstation DVD-games with:
    SONY DVD DRU500A
    RecordNow
    Platinium DVD+R media

All backups are done ok except for the latest EA PS2games. They seem not to fit on a 4.7GB DVD.
Is there a solution to this problem ?
