copyright problem using DVD-SHRINK Help pls.

    Hi all I have an Hp 630i dvd writer and im trying to burn a movie using dvdshrink. With the hp writer it says can't read drive copyright protected. What can I do to get around the copyrighted issue? TXXX

    Try playing the disk through your player, eg power dvd, or something similar for a few minutes, then put it back through shrink failing that try getting rid of the protection with decrypter and then go through shrink both these ways have worked for me

    ya vazz is right, you have to use dvddecrypter to decrypt the files and bypass the copyright protection.

    DVD Shrink should handle ripping most movies. What are you trying to rip.
