Correcting errors in MPEG-1 file

    I have an hour long MPEG-1 video file with pixel break-up errors and stop and go picture frames. Is there software that can correct these errors so a DVD player can play without problems.

    Nope, these problems have been encoded into the source. Your only way to truly eliminate them is to edit those parts out.
