I jus downloaded some videos with the OGM container and I've been trying to reencode it to DVD. The problem, not matter how much I tried, any program such as tmpgEnc encodes about 12% and then crashes.
I have done everything- Virtualdubmod to extract the video as raw AVI, etc, etc. I just can't put on DVD. Any ideas?

have you go into enviromental settings and put directshow priority higher ? if not try it. let it be on top. in tmpgenc.

    how about CCE ?

does the video play on the pc ? if it does it shouldn't be corrupted.

last resort frameserver. the easiest from virtual dub. make sure you put on direct stream copy.
    or faster, avisynth.

download it, install it, open up notepad, type.

    avisource("wherever\wherever\filename.avi")

    save. open in tmpgenc

Hey Shiroh u are the man!
Thanks, the environmental settings did the trick for tmpgENC. I was wondering why I need to set the priority for directshow higher? In the past, I did not need to change the settings to reencode divx to dvd. Anyways, thanx
