Can modchips corrupt save files? I just got my modded PS2 back. It is modded with a DUO modchip. Everything works fine. Now heres the thing, all my save files work, except for my soul calibur 2 save. When I tried to load the save it said the save was corrupted. I then tried to load it in my regular ps2 (no modchip, original) and the same thing happened. Every other save works fine, except soul calibuir 2. So, did my modchip do this or was i just unlucky?
Note: It is a sony memmory card.

If a mod chip did corrupt your save file, it would be the first case I've ever heard of. More than likely, you just got unlucky.
