i have just bought a gaming pc i have asus crosshair 3 motherboard amd phenom 2 x4 ati radeon 6850hd the pc works ok, but when i shut down the pc the led light of this cpu starts blinking, when i turn the pc on again it stops blinking and lights up, is this normal? do i have to worry about it? thanks
you mean the light on the computer itself?if so then no.if its new i would be taking it back for warranty.

is good to turn it off with a power bar as have seen computers shutdown by windows still supply power to wired optical mouses. have never come across a board that is doing what yours does with the blinking. are you certain it is not in sleep mode when it should be off?
i dont know how should i know how it will be in sleep mode? i think what have i searched only the asus crosshair 3 do this blinking and i always shut down my pc i never do it sleep mode
