Cpu runing at half speed..why??! :( help me. ram issue too.

    so i have a p:m 1.6ghz, but its running half speed. also, i dont think 480mb is normal when you are suppose to have 512.. could someone help? would reformatting help? thats the last thing i want to do.

    do you have onboard video to account the missing 32meg of ram? how do you know cpu is running at half speed?

    maybe its the onboard video taking the 32 megs?

    but look at the pic, it says my cpu is running at 798 mhz.

    is that the mobile version of cpu?

    Anubis, can you download either CPU-Z or Everest free edition, and get us a more complete idea of your hardware ?
    That way it'll be easier to identify the problem.

    Hmmm... can't tell much from this i'm afraid, i'm gonna ask you to download everest HERE
    and copy/paste a more complete list of all your system's hardware *including both sticks of RAM and your onboard video*.
    I kinda forgot CPU-Z doesn't give a complete hardware list, my bad, sorry :)
