Does any one know good free software where I can make a GIF file from video I take from a DVD?
As a matter of fact, I'd like to know a little more on Gif making myself. After a dig around, I stumbled upon Movies 13 it's a freebie...which is very handy. I havn't devoted too much time to it's workings as yet, but it may suit your needs at this point.
Let us know how you get on.
This might help
Thanks heaps Ripper, I have the software, now all I need is the time......LOL
Glad it helped you out
thanks this works!!
Cool, glad it worked for you too.
one problem....i have some video clips that is not the right file format that imageready uses.....what movie files can IR convert.....?
What format are your files in now?
They are Windows Media Audio/Video, AVI, MPEG4 and FLV
Well, I presume Imageready takes avi files.. so what trouble do you have when you import those avis into it?
Also, flvs need to be converted..
Choose form any of these
As for wmv files.. those should be converted also.. You can find info on that on AfterDawn.
What error are you getting trying to import the avis/mpeg4s?
most of my movies are WMV.........what can I do to convert these to avi?....those are what I am having trouble with
thanks...I'll check it out...
