I was not sure where to post this so I hope this is ok.

I would like to know if I can create a backup copy of my Gateway restore cd.

How would I do that and on what type of media would be the best?

    Thank you,
    Max

You can create a backup of a restore disc. If it's on CD use a CD-R, if it's on DVD, use a DVD+R or DVD-R. Be sure you use quality media such as Verbatims or TYs.

You can use any software that has disc copy features, such as Nero. You can also use ImgBurn to create an image file and then burn the image file using either ImgBurn or Nero.

dizzy ty for the response! So could I use Windows Media Player or is it better to use an actual burning software. I wasn't sure if I would have to do anything special. Could I copy all of the contents into a new folder and then copy all those files to the CD. Thanks for your help!
