customized psp and upgradeing fw

    since ive customized my psp with the different waves,icons and such i was wondering if i am to ever update to another custom firmware would i need to replace my custom wave,icons etc. files with the original files from the psp? if i dont replace the files with the originals will this result in a brick?

    shouldn't cause problems

    but it is essential, that before you start F'ing with flash that you should have made a back-up of your files your changing.

    i do have backups of it all haha. so lets say it upgrades with success and it somehow semi bricks because of lets say no support for customization, i just hit the recovery consul and replace the files i messed with correct?

    lmao, when u upgrade it should re-write anything u customized, now if u tried to re customize, (3.10OE w/ a topmenu_plugin.rco) then yeah u need to use recovery mode to get rid of your semi brick.
