cyclic redundancy check error...

    My DVD has absolutely no scratches....still this error over and ove. Any new suggestions? Thanks!

    What's the movie? You can get this error also if Shrink can't handle the copy protection.
    Rip w/ dvdfab hd decrypter.
    Still updated to handle the new stuff.

    It could also be a bad press. May not be able to see the bad spots w/ your eyes but the drive will sure pick them up.
    If you have another drive may want to try that one - some are better then others at ripping these 'bad' discs.

    Pirates OTC #2...Just trying to save it before the kids scratch it up! I got a Sony DRU-710A. Doesnt recognize cd's anymore but the dvd works fine. Ill try dvdfab and see how that goes... Thanks for the reply!

    Ah - yep that's one that Shrink can't handle by it's lonesome. Has Macrovision's RipGuard on it.
    DVDFab should do the trick. Once ripped open those files in Shrink.

    If the drives firmware isn't up to date - up date it - may help on the cd's. The latest is BYX5
