I have DVD Shrink and Decriptor. I keep getting this error message Cyclic redundancy check failed to read file e. I was trying to back up a movie called Recess School's out for my kids. Anybody have any ideas as to what might be wrong or how to fix it?

You might check your original disc. It may have smudges/scratches which will give your read errors. Decryptor in brute force mode sometimes will help.

It sounds like the new Sony encryption. Do you have the updated version of DVD decrypter? It should handle the new encryption.

    You can Get it HERE!!

it also may have a damaged vob file inserted deliberately by the manufacturers so that it is harder to copy.Try isobuster to see if it can pinpoint the affected area ,recover it to your hard drive then burn it back to disc.
