In another thread a while back someone suggested uninstalling then reinstalling shrink. Anythings worth a try but I ran into this problem with the latest resident Evil and Bounre Supremacy which required me to use different methods.

Sp2 has on some systems messed up the burning features. Many uninstalled SP2 to get their system back to where it was. This may or may not be your case. As stated the new dvd encryptions cause crc errors when being ripped. Too many crc errors will reset your IDE channels to PIO mode instead of DMA where they should be. Check your IDE channel controllers in your device manager and see where they are set.
