D.V.D's skip on PC

    When I play a dvd on InterVideo WinDVD 4 it begins fine, but soon enough it stops then skips for a few seconds then it continues to play.
    This continues to happen around every thirty seconds. The same thing happens when I play them on Windows Media Player and Real Media Player.
    I know it's not just with one dvd, because it happens with many, and I make sure not to play dirty or scratched dvd's, and I do not even use it that much.

    are you talking about originals or backups?

    Originals or backups? Hmm...
    I'm just reffering to regular d.v.d.'s you buy. If you are asking about the programs well they're the ones that came with my computer.

    I was referring to the movies. If they were backups I would say it's the media, but since your problems are with the originals ... I would say try a different program to play. I use PowerDVD.
