i am considering bying the d2pro mod chip ( i am assuming it is for wiis with the d2c chipset) and i was wondering if it is a good buy?

    - should i buy it instead of the older d2c key?

    - also can the d2ckey be updated? and does it work with ssbx?

    - if i have a d2ckey or d2 pro and i go online to update my system will it brick? so does this mean when new channels come i out i cant get them?

thanks for answering my noob questions

d2pro is by the same ppl who did d2ckey - it's easier to install having less wires - I think it's 15-19 depending on whether you want region override.

D2ckey - no updating supoosed to be necessary. D2Pro yes.

Dunno about SSBB - prolly will work I would guess.

Online updating doesn't brick Wiis at this time - hasn't done in the past and I don't expect it will do in the future.

I have read a few threads that say the Dual Layer SSBM does not work with D2CKey.

So I would go with D2Pro, Infectus 2 or ARGON since they are proven to be upgradable.
