Hope This Question Is O.K To Ask.

I Have A DVD Movie and wish to copy it for a back up but when i go to copy it using clonedvd, everything starts o.k but when it reaches a certain percent it comes up with data read error. even i tried with nero and that comes up with the same error. so i reckon my dvd film i am trying to back up is either scratched or no good no more. but the question i ask is is it possible to copy the contents of the dvd movie onto my hard drive and then burn it again to dvd. if so what program would i need to be able to do it.

    Many Thanks For Any Help

If this is a commercial DVD, you will need to rip it with AnyDVD first. To break the deCSS copy protection it will most likely have.
