Hey i was retrieving some important data from a 95 computer. I burnt the data (about 89 mb) onto a regular blank cd, using a program i found on that comp called "Hotburn"

When i was trying to copy this data to my XP comp, pentium four, etc., i would highlight the folder, click copy, but when i hit paste the following error showed up:

"Cannot copy file: Cannot read from the source file or disk"

the data is still in the old comp, but i need to get it out asap. It has a windows 95 operating system and around a gig of HD space, so i didn't try installing a better burning program.

is it because the disk is corrupt? or do i need better software for burning? but what works with window 95!?
