I have a Nokia Dbox2 and I uploaded a Sportster 2x image using FlashFXP. When I go to: DBOX>SERVICE>SOFTWARE UPDATE>EXPERT FUNCTIONS>WRITE ONE PARTITION>FLASH WITHOUT BOOTLOADER>File Selection, I see the Sportster file but when I press OK on the r/c nothing happens. I've tried using 2 different images. any ideas? thanks
You turn the box on and then ftp it into the tmp folder right? When you click on restore without bootloader it should say Cancel sportster2x.img You should be able to press down to highlight the image and then press OK. Are you doing exactly this and nothing happens? have you tried renaming the image files, some hardware has problems with spaces etc, so remane them mtd3.img or something it is used to. If it still fails the use IFA http://www.ifawilson.com/downloads/Dbox/D-BOX Imageflashingassistent v1.5.6 english.zip And always backup your current image and cables, service, bouquet before trying anything!
