   I know what regular DDR ram is and it replaced SDRAM. Now there is DDR SDRAM, why did they make it and is it better and newer than DDR. Im getting ready to build a new system and am trying to figure out if I should go with a system based on DDR Ram or DDR SDRAM? Thanks

   ddr & ddr sdram i think are 1 & the same, worry about ddr2 & 3
