Delete Corrupted File

    I'm trying to delete a file and when I do I see "This is no longer located in C:\. Verify the item's location and try again. How do I delete it!

    Please and thank you.

    It is a backup for when I rebooted my Xp. It is local disk.

    Use the program Gipo's Move on Boot to get rid of the nuisance file. As long as you can physically see the file on your C drive it can be deleted. It deletes the file before the system boots so Windows never has a chance to load the file into memory or to lock it out of the user thus preventing you from deleting it.
