The background behind my desktop icons is now a darkgray as when before it was transparent.
What happened was my whole screen display reverted to windows classic (i think) i managed to get everything else back to the way it was apart from the desktop icons.
Could anyone give me apointer in the right direction?

    Thanks.

Right click My Computer, Properties. Advanced tab. Settings button under Performance. Second to last check box..."Use drop shadows....."
