Desperate for help

I recently had an error21 appear on my Xbox so decided to upgrade EvolutionX dashboard to version 3935, unfortunately I also chnaged the ini flie and therefore it does not recognise my movies, games.

I cannot now FTP either for some reason, maybe due to change in my ini file.

Can anybody suggest how i can go forward and explain how I can FTP and point the ini file to the direction of my movies, games.

donno why the games or apps arnt recognised. Ive upgraded multiple times with no problem. It may be a bad upgrade. Try burning a different version of evox onto a disk, make sure before you burn that you have the right network settings and boot ur xbox up with it, you should then be able to ftp and fix the problem

 

try a dynamic ip address or figure out what static ip you'll need.

 

Could someone please explain the proper and safe way to update EvolutionX?

Just ftp to the xbox and replace the old evoxdash.xbe with the newer evoxdash.xbe. Thats it. Dont worry about the .ini file.
