    Hello all

I don't understand why dvdplayers softs like windvd or powerdvd don't detect any device.
I checked the control panel and everything is ok.
I have no idea where the problem is...
    If someone can help...

    Is it a dvd drive????

Did you install your software after you installed the drive & are you sure your drive can be supported by these software titles?

I have a pioneer dvd-116. No problems for windows 98, checked the control panel. I downloaded the trial versions of powerdvd and windvd and I'm unable to open them because they don't detect any cd/dvdrom device.
I told them my letter drive but nothing, always the same error msg...
Did anybody have that problem before ?
