I just started using 1clickDVDcopy to back up a few old discs. First I had trouble with a few movies it wouldn't read even with DVD42 loaded. But I got it to work with others. Then I found it working for what seemed like hours. DVD wound't finish. I had to power off the PC to get the door to open. DVD disc was very warm - now my Sony DRU500A won't work at all. In fact when the PC boots it just start cycling on an off. If I put a disc in it won't give it back. It won't read or write and seems to just jam the PC. I've disabled the device in Windows and now the PC at least works. Did 1Click do this to me or did my Sony just give up the ghost? It's ~2 years old.
