hey. I'm having a problem with my ps2. its a slim and i've done a modification so i can run backups without a swap magic. i use a pro action replay and closed off all the sensors allowing me to trick the ps2. but anyway, my laser seems to be having a harder time reading burnt ps2 games. any ideas?

make sure that whether or not you are using a "good" media brand (as most of the good ones are NOT available everywhere) you are burning at no higher than half the rated max burn speed of the media, and no lower than 4x.

most of the times that solves the problem.
though i've heard that slimlines have more issues with backups than the old fat versions... though i have a fat ps2 thats unmodded that has trouble reading actual copies of ps1 games... go figure...
