Difference between CSO and ISO?

    When ISO's are compresed into CSO's whats the catch?.

    whats the differnce.

    just the size of file.

    there's the possibility of lag when in cso. you have to mess with the compression level settings to find a balance between size and playability. most games will work when compressed at level 9.

    example: crisis core. i've used it in the iso format, which was 1.7gigs. after using umdgen4.0 to compress it to cso with level 9 compression, it went down to 1.2gigs. fmv still plays with no lags, but loading times are a smidge slower than the iso format. it's still liveable.
