i have a intel celeron 1.8 with a lite-on dvd-rom drive and a pioneer A06 dvd burner. i tried Alcohol 120% to back my ps2 games up and when i try play them, they freeze at the loading screen. A friend of mine uses the same method of burning his backups, he has a pentium 4 1.6 with a lite-on dvd-rom and a pioneer A06 aswell. he also uses Alcohol 120% and the backups work perfectly for him. i was wondering if anybody knew what the problem would be?

Try DVD Decrypter and media like Verbatim, TDK, or Sony DVD+/-R. Try not to use DVDRW cuz some PS2 wont read them. Cheap DVD media usually is not good for backups either.
