Direct x Problem

    Have just installed Medal of Honour Pacific Assault running a Ge-Force 4 MX440 with Direct x9c installed but get a message saying can not play game as graphic card does not fully support Direct x 8. Do I have to change my card or can I get round this.

    I am running Athlon 2000XP, 512mb DDR, 64mb on board graphics card, 140gb hard drive, these seem to be within spec for game, but the message about Direct x 8 is baffling me as I am using Direct x 9c and latest Nvidia drivers.

    I'm not 100% sure on this one, but although you have directX 9 installed, i don't think the Geforce4 MX440 is totally compatible. This would be the cause of your problem :(
