    hey,
just wondering about several issues surrounding disc ids
is there such thing as a disc id generator, this would save time when burning a game image to dvd , as i would not need to use the disc id utility, yes i know it is wuick but a generator would be usefull / is there a list of valid disc ids on the web, which wouldnt break the law? if you own the original but use someone elses disc id (database on net for arguments sake) is that illegal,
say you made a backup of a game and the original got snapped or scrtatched (afterall the purpose of backups) but you hadnt copied the disc id down, there must be some way to make a dnas working copy of that game, legaaly?

    any ideas
    kind regards

    1. ids on net is illegal

    2. theres NO generator for this... cuz all the ids are actauly random numbers generated by sony.. you cant guess number nor make id generator...

    3. the id is stored on the inner ring of the media... so only the ps2 can read... if the game is scrached the id wont be... cuz they are in the safe place... on the inner ring near the barcodes and the sony digital signature...

    4. use of someones id w/o his knowlege is illegal.. and only should be used if you got original game... besides every game with dnas has diffrent codes... either if they are region codes or jsut regular dnas codes...

hope all this answer your questions...
