i need help! today i have decided to buy a dvd rom drive
i've been using a cd rom drive for the past 2years.. i've bought a
Sony DVD ROM DRIVE model no. crx320ee. so i've removed my old cd rom drive and replace it w/ my new dvd rom drive, i've connected the cable
and power chords properly but after i turned my pc on during post
"DISK BOOT FAILURE INSERT SYSTEM DISK AND PRESS ENTER" i did double check my connection and everything seems fine.. then i got frustrated
and i installed again my old cd rom drive and my pc booted w/ no problem. what seems to be the problem w/ the dvd rom drive i bought?
or is it something to do w/ my drivers? please help me..
    Thank you in Advance!

is the new drive jumpered the same as old drive because it appears to be on same cable as your hard drive & jumpered as master the same as your hard drive? should be jumpered slave or cable select to avoid conflict with hard drive.
