divx to cd-rw help

    could somone please tell me how to burn a dvdx movie to a cd-rw disk. i am using a dvd burner, but i am a little confused. than you

    thank you for the response. i downloaded a movie for the net,in a divx format.here is where i have 2 questions.1-can i use a cd-rw disk to record a dvd? 2-do i have to convert the divx to another format so i can burn it? and if so, what type of format.

    1) How large is the file?

    2) You can burn DiVX to disc fine but if your ultimate goal is to watch it on a standard DVD player you'll need to convert it unless your player supports MPEG4.
