DM500c Setup Problems

Hi Lads,
Really looking for some help here.
I never setup a dreambox dm500c before and looking for a little help with it.
The image I have in it is pli jade 3.
I don't mind what image I use in it as I can change it.
I live in Ireland in Clare using cable upc/chorus.
The help I need is in step to step in trying to set this up and ready for a C:line.
I have purchased the line and ready to go so ok here is what I have done to the box so far.

I have flashed the box with pli jade 3 using dreamup.
I put the line in the cccam.fig file using flashfxp.
went to auto scan for channels and nothing.
Can someone please show me how its done as I can no longer look at this box staring me in the eyes

Hi mate is it 500c or 500s you've got cause c is cable and s is satellite

on remote control press menu -> setup -> service searching and then auto scan where you select your cable provider and then scan

 

yep your channel list should appear but won't display until you find that needle in the hay stack

Lads a couple of pm's has came my way about servers for these dm500C Cable boxes
So they are out there but really rare!
So it is like finding a needle in the hay stack But if your there long enough and be patient you will always find what your looking for ha..
Im not going to say by whom but I had some offers from servers and to what im told from a really good source all of ye in the next 2 months will be looking for a cable server too Ha..

Lads ye need to remember I posted here looking for info on a cable server for my box,
I have a server for my sat box but its a cable server for u pc I need for this 1.
Where all here in the same boat! no body wants to pay big to Sly or any other companies like it that robs us big time!
This is 1 of the reasons these forums and threads are here for info, advice and help.
So if we don't ask the questions we have then we wont get the answers we need.

hey there i have a dm800 and am receiving the sly package from cline and server i also have a dm500c that i was lookin to use. i was even wondering does the youpc card work in it with paid sub????does anyone have that going even??is there a server out there that works with the dm500c fir recieving youpc cable ????thanks
