I want to get my PS2 moded so I can play my backups from my bought games, but i dont know if i want to. Its because Ihave a DVD burner that burns DVD+R disc. I was wondering if a mod chip can play DVD+R discs. I know a mod chip can play DVD-R discs but would it play +r's? I want a ChipMod which can be located here.

    http://www.modchip.ca/store/customer/product.php?productid=16177&cat=268&page=1

    My PS2 states are
    NTSC
    SCPH-50001
    Date code: 3C

If you know any modchips that plays DVD+R discs and with my PS2 state, then post back. (Cause I am a noob!)

help would be very helpful from you.

modchips have nothing to do with reading +r, its the ps2. But you will have no problem with + or -r discs (make sure you use good quality ones).
