    Hello,

I was going to purchase a Samsung UN65JS8500 and I was wondering does it implement Cinavia say if I was streaming a file from my PC using Serviio? That's how I watch most of my movies. I have a PC running Serviio pointed at a network NAS drive with all my movies and music on it.

Currently I have no problems because mostly I use my Blu-Ray player to run the streaming content from the PC and it had a firmware update issue where it's stuck in a loop, which actually prevented Cinavia from becoming active on it which is nice.

I'm thinking of just changing out the TV, keeping the non-upscaling Blu Ray player because it's Cinavia free and let the TV do the upscaling to 4K.

But I think I'll run into problems if I stream directly to the TV, bypassing the Blu Ray player... or will the TV still pick up the Cinavia signal inside of the stream coming from the Blu Ray player?

    Thanks,
    Matt
