I want to backup my Star Wars : BattleFront and I do not have a mod chip or a Swap Magic disc.
I do NOT want to buy anything and I have a cd/dvd burner.
    Is it possible?

You are going to have to buy something in order to play backups on your PS2. Either a no-swap modchip or something like a flip-top and Swap Magic discs.

you are asking the impossible. If it could be done, no one would buy modchips or boot discs.

depends on what you want. If you can solder very well, you can get a modchip. If not, you can probably get a fliptop and swap magic for around there.

i think I'd want a RELIABLE mod-chip, but I was just wondering what a slide card was used for?

the slide card lets you force open the ps2 tray (i don't recommend it).

the bottom one on your list is not a modchip. But, i don't think there is anything wrong with them. Can you install a chip yourself? If not, its going to cost a lot to have someone do it.
