This is what I would like. I have a ton of shortish video clips (2-5mins each) that I want to put on DVD. I want them ALL to fit on dvd, and quality isn't the most important.

I'm trying to find something that will let me select them all, and encode them/resample them so that they will all fit.

I've found a couple of apps that seem to do what I want, but I'm forced to do one at a time. Ideally I'd like something where I can just pick them all, tweak the entire bunch at once the same amount down to 4.7gb.

    Any suggestions?

The easiest way i would think is to use dvdshrink 3.0 beta 5 and open the file or dvd you want click re-author and drag and drop the file u want. When you want a new one leave the re-author window open and using the first window open a new file and drag and drop and repeat.
