Does it matter what dvd burner you get to make dvd backups??? I am looking at a Toshiba SD-R5002. You can see the specs at:

    http://shop.store.yahoo.com/3btech/dvto2xdvd16c.html

I am also gonna buy an external adapter through ebay for it because i have a laptop and it's cheaper to buy and internal dvdrw w/ and external adapter than a plain external dvdrw drive. Please Help!!! Thank You!!!

The only situation you will have to deal with is with the transfer method. I.E. Firewire, USB etc. Make sure you have enough Ram and start off at slow burning speeds. What operating system are you using?

Oner...I will be transfering using USB 2.0. I have 224MB of DDR Ram. An AMD Athlon XP 1500+ Processor with a 20Gb Hard Drive. I am using the Windows XP Home Edition Operating System.
