Does it matter...???

    Does it matter what interface a non-sony hard drive is??? Because I saw a maxtor ata hard drive and some people say the network adaptor fits best in ide. I don't know my interfaces that well so sorry if this has been asked already.

    its more to do with the dimensions of the HD. The HD has to be able to fit onto the network adapter then slide into ps2 expansion bay. HD's are all different. In a pc theres tons of room and the HD is cinnected through a flexible cable. No such luxury in a ps2.

    Use a maxtor HD. ALWAYS.

    sorry use an IDE connection. other types are RAID ans SCSI or something. ignore these.
