o.k. I have allready ripped the dvd and compressed the files. I have +RW media, now do I have to tell nero what type media I have or does it just write to the disk regardless if it is + RW, -RW, +R, -R. Thanks all.

Hi bullchain, Welcome to the Club,

Use what ever works in your DVD player -

RW media works well in your PC but few players will play it :-(

The only thing to remember is use the best media - Ritek G04 or Verbatim when backing up DVD's.

thanks for the reply. It seems that there is alot to know and many ways to back-up a DVD. I quess its a trial and error method, but oh how fun it is.
