Does Ps3 support 1080P 60hz for bluray movies?

    I think it only supports 1080/24. Not to suggest that's bad, 24 fps was the original film speed and is much more natural for the human eye. When the industry switched to 30/60 fps, that is when you saw DVD players coming out with 3:2 pull down and all that crap. 24 fps is the new HD standard.

    24p is an option IF the BD Movie supports it AND your TV has it too. So if you don't have either it won't apply.
