I really hope this is a stupid question, but I am unable to drag n drop files to a dvd-r though XP, but the burner works ok when burning movies in other apps.

Am I missing something? Please tell me I am.

    Thanks,

    Johnny

To my knowledge, XP only has the included support of CD writing and not DVD's............................

I maybe wrong, but I may also be right aswell................

I think you are right. I read someone that it does not support burning dvd-r. WTF? Even Apple has built in dvd-r support.

Oh well, I was able to do it with the software that came with the drive.
