i want to know if there is a way to put a new hard drive into the new ps2 "slim"?

or do i have to get an external hardrive through usb?

hase any one also seen any solderless modchips for the new ps2 slim?

or mabey any mod chips that you just lay into place, then solder the points as it says..?

things are not as easy and you wan't them to be. You can't use a regular hd in the slim ps2. You will eventually be able to use an external usb one, but the program is still in the works.

I think its best to use a Laptop hard that way you use power from the PSTWO. Using a 3.5 drive need more voltage, maybe a drive enclosure of some kind.

Perhaps the 'USB Extreme' we are waiting for could also be used with the soon-to-be-released SONY PSP (with its USB 2.0)....otherwise, the Sony's Memory Stick Pro DUO (expensive!) is the only option for watching MPEG4 - based video on the PSP, for now.

Yes the usb extreme will be released soon at , but fior playing mp4s i doubt thatll work. Also the sony psp's movie player is high level, i got a psp , and it is very promising.
