Hey everyone, I have this REALLY weird question, that I figured I would post. I have alot of the downloaded programs such as rippers for cd, dvds, and even several P2P apps. My question is this...some of these programs are great and they use donations to try and create better versions, since it takes time and money in order to develop these programs. Now, I was wondering, if there is like some type of "donation etiquette" to use in order to determine how much of a donation you could give. I know that a donation is any type of monetary value that you would like to give. But if say someone, give 10 cents, is that really considered....rude? I would like to start donating to programs such as Firefox, but what is an acceptable donation? Any MATURE comments would be helpful, looking to here from smart people, not smart @ss people.
