Doom 3 Error

Hello, I just finished installing Doom 3 for my PC, and when I click the "doom3.exe" I get this error:

Does anyone have any ideas as to what is possibly going wrong?

PS- I have tried a new installation - same error...
I have a GeForce 6600 GT, 768MB RAM
