   Hi guys,
   
   A friend of mine is having troubles installing doom3, it won't let him at all. Error 1603 keeps coming up.
   
   Someone mentioned he should try to manually install: create directories, copy paste,
   
   but not sure if it will work, i'm here to see if there's any other advice.
   
   any will be appreciated,

   did he check doom site for what the error means
