downloaded PSX iso dont work on PS2?

    Hi plz can anyone help...i have a problem with psx iso i download from internet, it doesn't work on my ps2 console?? i have a copies of psx and it works just fine on my ps2 but when i tried to burn a psx iso on CD-R and play it on ps2 it just take alot of time and the playstation logo apearse and nothing happens...it happens to alot of games i download from internet...so does the wrong from my burning or the games ...or there is some kind of files i must add??..plz help me..

    I see you are new but watch out. Looking for support on pirated material can get you banned.

    it might be the way you are burning them. what program are you using to burn it with?

    what settings/speed/program/media/....

    1st of all if your ps2 modded i guess so seeing as you say u have other backups but if its not modded with a chip or swap disks then u ent playin anything burnt

    if it is modded then i use alcohol to burn games for psx i use the following settings
    write speed : 4x or as low as it can go
    write method : RAW/DAO
    Enable Buffer Underrun technology : Cheked
    Dont close the last session of current disk : Uncheked
    Rectify Sub-Channel Data : Cheked
    Datatype : Playstation

    these settings always work for me hopefully that helped.

    If you have a swap magic, then you can load a burnt copy of this I suppose, or if you have any other kind of mod chip.

    If you don't, then you can't play this burnt copy.

    You cant use swap magic to boot psx games you either need a mod chip, memory card exploit (i think exploits can boot psx not 100% sure tho) or what i use breaker pro.
