Hey. So recently i encountered a problem when i was trying to download a hypercam to record vids and this also happens when i try to download games from sites and other such downloads. Anyways, whenever i try to download something a screen pops up saying "Internet explorer encountered a problem and needs to close." I am currently running internet explorer 7.0 and i have all microsoft updates up to date. The only thing i can think of that could be causing this problem is my McAffee firewall, but I have disabled the firewall and recieved the same message. Does anyone know what is wrong and how to fix it? This would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks!

    Ok, I'll help.

First off delete McAfee. It sucks. Plain and simple.

Next, download NOD32 antivirus. I'll leave where you download it from to your criteria (wink wink). NOD32 only uses 13MB to run on process; whereas McAfee uses 200+MB. Do the smart thing.

Finally, turn off your Windows firewall. Maybe that helps.
