    Hi there
i have a dreambox (satellite receiver) with a 40gb HD and I record movies in .TS format
To convert them into divx format I normally use Dr.Divx.
Everything is fine except for this :
if a movie recorded in the .ts file has 2 languages , converting it to divx, keeps just one language without the possibility to chose the one I prefer
    Is there a way out?
    Thank you

i'm not entirely sure what a .ts are...
but how video and audio works is both are seperate streams and played simultaneously with the given timeline.

so what you need to do is demux both of the streams.
box like this usually encodes in mpeg2.

    so try
    virtualdubmod
    or
    dvd2avi

    my 2 cents

    Hi
    .ts is a dvb format
I'm using dr divx because is a software that converts directly in one passage the .ts format to divx (with a good quality)
The problem is that it seems that I can't see the possibility to chose the language I want if there are two on the .ts file
    Any ideas?
    Best

what i meant is that, work with the audio and video seperately.

try dvd2avi, it will accept mpeg2 streams. other apps will do this to. but its what i have, and always use, also to frameserve the video, what it was made for.

as for how to do it with dr.divx...
    automation is evil ;)
