Dreambox 500 S

Hi,

I'm trying to set up a Dreambox 500 S on Chorus cable in Ireland. I have previously set up a 500 C with no problems but not able to set up the 500 S. Just have a few questions. 1) Will the 500 S work with cable and if so 2) What do I need to do differently from the 500 C,

Any help would be appreciated.

 

S stands for satellite and not cable.

 

Thanks, is it similar to the 500 T?

 

T stands for terrestrial and is for dvb-t.
If the different methods would be compatible, there wouldn't be different boxes on the market.
